Day 284

Our Little Veterinarian 

As you know Adeline LOVES Chloe!!! But today that love moved to another level.  Whenever the opportunity presented itself Adeline intently inspected Chloe; especially her eyes.  She was so gentle and slow while inspecting her Puppy it was just tooo sweet.  You could see that she just adores her Puppy.  

Day 245

Hangin' in the Crib

I plopped the puppy into Adeline's crib after her morning nap and they were both quite pleased with that.  Adeline kept trying to give Chloe a book and all Chloe wanted to do was lay down on Adeline's bed.  They were quite entertained with each other! 

Babywearing Day

Adeline's teeth must have been bugging her quite a bit today, because we were babywearing pretty much all day today.  I love it because Adeline is not a snuggly baby at all...but today she almost felt a little bit snuggly.  Here we are out for a coffee and muffin.  I took a picture of our reflection in the Xterra.  

Day 192

Mmmm Milk

When you are done drinking you always throw your cup...it is actually really funny, you just sort of fling your cup over the edge of your high chair. Sometimes whatever is in the cup spills a bit and sometimes it spills A LOT! And today was one of those days where it spilled a lot. So when she was allowed back into the kitchen Chloe beelined it right to your spilled milk to sop it up...and now because you can crawl you wanted to check it out too, so you did. You crawled over to where Chloe was checking out your milk and literally grabbed her head and moved it away from the milk so you could get at it too.

Day 162

Basement Fun

Now that the basement is all (well mostly) finished Adeline, you have another fun place to play! Today you were having a blast taking out all the toys with faces and talking to them. I love that you are so friendly! Daddy and I were watching you from afar and I did not want to interrupt your play session with the "babies" so I took this shot without you knowing. You can see how Chloe also loves how friendly you are. Today she just wanted to lay with you as you played with all the toys.

Day 73

Hangin With Uncle Timmy

Uncle Timmy came over to have some quality Adeline time while in town. And as you can see Chloe had to get in there too! Adeline had lots of fun playing with Uncle Timmy and is excited to see him again before he goes home.

Day 67

Adeline Loves Her Cheerios

I am continually amazed at how a screaming baby can be stopped in her tracks upon looking at a crunchy snack scattered on a table top. Cheerios are my new favourite baby staple...not that they provide any nutrition to my precious little one, but they provide much sanity for her mama.

And as you can see she is even starting to pick them up all by herself and every once and a while she even gets them in her mouth! Like I said the day before yesterday, Exciting times in the Milligan household!

Day 66

Adeline's Throne

Today Adeline and I were having some TUMMY TIME! I know hey, she is doing soooo good! Well, I looked over and saw Chloe's bed just sitting there waiting to have Adeline sit in it. So I put Adeline in it and then thought why have I never done this before?? She quite enjoyed it, until she tipped over and smashed her head on the wood entertainment unit...then she was sad, but Chloe being the nice doggie she is came over and gave Adeline some nice licks in the mouth and that made Adeline feel better.

*I know the picture is just not that cute...but all the ones where Adeline is smiling or laughing are all fuzzy because I could not stop laughing, and I thought it was fun having a dog ;)

Day 30

Baby's Best Friend

Adeline and Chloe love each other. Adeline has learned that if she sees Chloe, leans forward and sticks out her tongue that Chloe will lick the inside of her mouth and face and chest (if there is some spit up on her clothes). This is win-win for the both of them! I have come to realize that the only readon Adeline can sit up is because she wants to see and touch Chloe. So if she is sitting on the floor then Chloe will immediately come and see her. Chloe has learned that when Adeline burps she should come running, because there are bound to be some delicious juices dripping from Adeline's face on to the floor.

Day 15

We have a budding artist on our hands...although she was more interested in eating the drawing implement than actually making any art. She even christened my diningroom table with permanent felt marker...I knew it would happen sooner or later.

This one is a picture of the gouge on Adeline's face from where her daddy let her face plant the floor yesterday. She was doing her daily sitting practice on the floor this time with daddy and she was doing real well until she toppled forward onto her sister's bone...How many times a day do I need to tell Chloe to pick up her toys until she remembers to do it herself? I just hope the memory of what happend does not come back to her every time she sits on the floor...until she sits I am going to blame it on this, more importantly, I am going to blame the Husband for it!

...and I know you cannon see it very well, but I asure you, it's a bad one!
