Adeline Loves Babies

Adeline, you love babies, especially you! Today we were out enjoying a sunny summer day at a park near out house...you found your photo album and were kissing the baby in the mirror on the front cover...it was sooooo adorable!

Day 157

Friends

There seems to be only one baby in the world who can handle your need to talk and touch other babies...and that's Jack. He is even more demanding with physical contact from other babies than you are. After swimming lessons today we went to Jack's house for some lunch and play time. When Jack finally woke up from his nap you would not stop talking his ear off. Then when he was finally over his groggy, I just woke up stage Jack would not stop trying to hug and kiss you. Fortunately you are a HUGE fan of other babies and will let them do pretty much anything to you as long as you can be near them. Here are a few picture Bethany snapped today from your encounter together:

Here is Jack sharing a good book with you. You were very insistant that Jack to tell the story, but you had to be the one to turn the pages...just like when you read with Mommy and Daddy.

Jack was standing up, so you wanted to try it out too...until Jack wanted to give you a hug and thus tackled you to the ground. He is such a kind and loving friend ;)

Day 107

In the Pack 'n Play

I took the baby insert out of the Pack 'n Play the other day and I think Adeline likes it. She sits in the there playing with whatever toys I pack there with her. Even though she is not moving yet it is still nice to have her contained. And it is easy to move it from the loving room to the kitchen when I want to make dinner and Adeline needs to be close to her mama.

Talking With Friends

We went to pick up a few things for the house at IKEA this afternoon and when we were on the way home Adeline got a bit fussy so I gave her her photo album. She preceded to flip through the pages, first Jack, then Daddy, then Mommy and then she got to the picture of her Jack and Carter she began talking to the babies, gently touching them and kissing them too. Kris and I just sat in the front seats quietly snickering, trying not to interrupt her.

Day 63

Mommy and Me

Adeline let Mommy do strollercise today, but as soon as it was time for the weight training she wanted to have some mommy time...therefore Mommy's weight training was lifting Adeline up and down, up and down. More on kisses from Adeline...she was holding out on mama today, but freely gave open mouthed, tongue kisses to both Carter and Jack in the pool today. I guess it's better kissing babies than mama.

Lovin My Toes

Adeline was enthralled with her toes today. It may have helped a little bit that there was a string hanging off her leg warmers that she kept trying to pull at ;)

After Strollercise today we went swimming...while watching this video imagine Adeline doing this in the pool, she is becoming quite the little swimmer.

Day 60

Kisses for Mommy

Adeline started kissing today...super cute. But she really only does it intermittently; at one moment she will give all the kisses you want and the next she stone walls you!

Day 32

Daddy Love

Adeline has just started to grab either side of our face and pull us in to an open mouth, tongue out kiss...it is about the cutest thing ever! Today Daddy was the recipient of this precious gift!

Day 30

Baby's Best Friend

Adeline and Chloe love each other. Adeline has learned that if she sees Chloe, leans forward and sticks out her tongue that Chloe will lick the inside of her mouth and face and chest (if there is some spit up on her clothes). This is win-win for the both of them! I have come to realize that the only readon Adeline can sit up is because she wants to see and touch Chloe. So if she is sitting on the floor then Chloe will immediately come and see her. Chloe has learned that when Adeline burps she should come running, because there are bound to be some delicious juices dripping from Adeline's face on to the floor.
