Fun With Dad

Adeline was really excited to see Daddy this evening. They were having so much fun just sitting on the chair in her room talking and smiling and laughing at each other.  Check out her oh so cute elbow dimples!!!

Day 96

Starbucks

Adeline, Mommy and Daddy all went out on a Starbucks date tonight! Here she is just having a chat with dad after enjoying her child's hot chocolate (kidding, she really had a cup of triple filtered Starbucks water). This was not Adeline's first trip to the Bucks, I think and hope we have imparted our love of expensive coffee and delicious treats on to our daughter ;)

Day 95

Laundry Basket Babysitter 2

I had one grouchy baby on my hands today...that's what happens when you are up every hour through the night two days in a row and you won't nap. =) So again I found a babysitting job for the laundry basket, my teeth thank you o laundry basket extraordinaire!

Day 94

Reading With Dad

Adeline has really been enjoying books lately...here she is listening to Daddy read a book about a Silly Baby!  I love how she just laid back, relaxed and enjoyed the story.

BTW - she rolled today and I even saw it...twice!

Day 93

Helping Mommy With the Dishes

And boy was she ever a good helper...she let me get all the dishes done and didn't squawk once!  I love this girl!

She Rolled!

But do you think I got to see it...NOPE! I left her on the floor, on her back, went to brush my teeth and when I got back there she was playing on her tummy.  And then later on in the afternoon she was playing on her back and wanted sooo badly to roll on her tummy (see above picture), but didn't and after much frustration just gave up, found another toy and continued on her merry way.  As you can see in the above picture she was alllmost over to her tummy and then just gave it...I'm gonna have to leave her alone more often, she obviously doesn't like to perform for me ;)

Day 92

Tired Baby

Adeline went to her first birthday party today.  We went swimming and then had pizza and cupcakes (Adeline had Applesauce and Rice, lucky Girl).  It was a lot of fun!!!  On our way home Adeline zonked right out and stayed that way until I woke her up, as it was time for her to eat dinner and get ready for bed.  Adeline was soooo tired that when I went into her room she didn't wake up, when I opened up her curtains and blinds she didn't wake up and when I shone the red light from my camera in her face she still did not wake up...she did not wake up until I went to take off the harness from her car seat.  I'm thinking she was pretty tired after the big party; what do you think?

Day 91

Playing

I love that Adeline keeps getting better and better at playing independently.  Today she sat on the floor and played with her toys alone for a whole 10 minutes.  She sat there! and didn't fall over and played, it was soooo nice; I finally got some TV watching done! Wow the TV shows have been building and building up these past few weeks and I just have not found the time to get to them lately, but now that Adeline can sit unassisted for a whole 10 minutes, you can't imagine the TV watching I'll be able to get done! Tee-Hee!

But seriously, it was nice that she was able to sit and play with herself for a while...she also did some tummy time after she was done with sitting and looksie how high up she is able to push herself now!  Maybe one of these days she will even roll herself over ;)
