Day 227

Packing Mom's Bag

Adeline has recently stated this really cute thing...rather than only taking things out, she can now also put them in. Randomly throughout the day I'll see her putting things in. Today she was putting her sorting blocks in my bag...maybe she wanted them to come to the store with us ;) She will also now put her own toys away, with prompting, put the books back onto the shelf and help me fold the laundry. She gives me the clothes and I fold them, it is a great system for now...much better than the I grab them and fold them and she unfolds them!

Day 194

Friends

You had your friend Charlotte over for a visit today. She eats much, much slower than you, so while she was finishing her meal you decided to pick up her scraps from the floor and play with her feet...good thing she is easy going ;)

Helper

While I was making dinner this evening you wanted to help by take out a casserole dish for me...which wold have been really helpful had I actually been making a casserole. Maybe we'll try again tomorrow!

Other note without a pic...today when I put you down for a nap all of a sudden you were crying out pretty loud (and I knew your nap was not over, because I had just put you down 15 minutes ago)...well when I went in to your room you were STANDING!!!! You had figured out how to pull yourself up and you could not get back down. Well I guess it's time to put your crib down to the lowest setting finally.

Day 172

In the Van

I needed a little help when putting away your stroller today...so I just plopped you in the bins in the back of the van that I use to put the groceries in. You found it quite enjoyable! And I even got the stroller folded and put away I like I needed to without needing to put you on the VERY dirty garage floor.
