Day 290

Hi!

Day 258

Big Talker 

Adeline and Mommy were having a great time playing outside this morning! She found her blow-up pool and REALLY wanted to go in it...so I put her in the empty pool and she just loved it!!! Then I have her her pool toys and she was in heaven! Adeline pulled her Kitty out if its mini kennel and was talking and talking to her.  Then she was trying real hard to put the kitty back into the kennel...which was very difficult because it is a very tight squeeze!  

Swinger

Now that it is not too hot we are spending more time outside (and because our days without snow are numbered). Adeline is an outside-body (rather than a home body ;).  She LOVESSSSS being outside!!! We had a blast swinging in the swing.  I would push her and say wheeee and she would say weeeeee (in her own Adeline way).  I'm gonna have to get Daddy to mow all the pinecones up, as all Adeline wants to do sometimes is crawl around and eat them!

Day 182

Happy Canada Day!

We celebrated Canada's Birthday by going to a parade on Whyte Ave. It was called the Silly Summer Parade so we could not pass that up. You most enjoyed playing with your flags and watching the other kids watching the parade. You also like all the kids riding their bikes.

I didn't get a picture of it yet, but you totally did some crawling today...only about 3 "steps" but crawling none the less!!!!! YAY FOR YOU ADELINE!!! And you have mastered getting from your tummy to the sitting position, it is great because now when you are upset about being on your tummy (sometimes) you do something about it rather than whine and cry for me to help you. And you have started saying puppy and every so often baby (rather than Jack for babies now). And all this just before you cross the 11th month threshold. Great Work Adeline!

Day 174

Watching While They Work

You love to watch people work! At the grocery store you are entranced by the cashier, when checking books out at the Library you strain to see what the lady is doing behind the counter and today you were memorized by the men and women paving the new road in front of our house. For the past several days they have been paving the roads beside out house and you have listened attentively hoping to get a glimpse of what is going on. We have gone out a periodically watched the dump trucks unloading the ash-fault and talked to the men in their hard hats, but today you got to sit on the back of the couch watching the workers build the road all while telling Mommy and Daddy what what happening. You are becoming quite the little talker (to be honest, you have pretty much always been quite the talker...but you do come by it honestly).
