Day 291

 Sad Bebe

Today was Adeline's most snuggly day EVER!!! She just wanted to lay in my lap this morning and she even let me wrap my robe around the both of us.  

Hat!

I swear it wasn't me...I did not put the bucket on Adeline's head like a hat!!! She did it all herself and then waltzed over to show me.  She must have really wanted to wear it, because it kept falling off and she kept putting it right back on again!

Day 221

Hot Day, Cold Treat

A hot day, like today, calls for some cold treats! So we popped in McDonald's to have some ice cream. Adeline enjoyed the first 3 minutes of it then had a breakdown!!!!! One of those sobbing breakdowns. I am thinking that it got a bit too cold for her and she really didn't like it...other than that I have no explanation for the breakdown. It was ok, Daddy showed up for a surprise visit and made everything better.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE TIMMY!!

Shiner

Well Adeline you got a shiner (I actually think this is your second). You were cruising around the chairs a bit and fell over and smashed your face right on the edge of the wood chair leg. Daddy and I were wondering why you were soooo upset and crying even after we showed you some pictures of babies. Then we saw the redness around your eye...we are more than a little curious to see what it looks like tomorrow.

Day 178

It's Been One of These Kind of Day

You have the worst diaper rash I have even seen today!!!! It is read and blistering all over your bum and you cry when just sitting. Not to mention the screaming that happens when I change your diaper. You have been sad allllll day and it makes me sad too. Hopefully you are feeling better tomorrow.

Day 105

Teething Trials

Teething with a vengeance continues, but hopefully the end is in sight!! This Adeline's 6th tooth, her top left lateral incisor, has begun poking out and been the cause of much pain on our lives this week. Adeline now has her front two top and bottom teeth and her top and bottom later incisors on the left side only. Which makes me laugh...oh how I love(d) symmetry. Even though she is a little more grumpy and wayyyy more irritable that usual, she is still a pretty happy baby; and she still loves to laugh!
