Day 285

Potty Training

To help keep warm Adeline has been wearing a lot of Baby Legs during potty training.  She is happy to let me know when she is all done on the potty now...whether she has gone potty or not.  

Day 279

Potty Day 3

Today was Adeline's third day on the potty and she peed again! YAY!  I didn't even notice when it was happening (what a bad mom, and teacher too...I didn't even get to immediately positively reinforce the behaviour).  She peed (at some point while sitting on the potty) and then it seemed like she was ready to get off so I took her off and voila there it was!

Day 278

Potty Training Day 2

SHE PEED!!! ON THE POTTY!!!! It was amazing.  So today she sat on the potty a few times, but this time I took her pants and diaper off.  And this afternoon she actually peed.  I was so excited for her!!! I think I scared her, because she started to cry.  Maybe I'll curb the enthusiasm a bit next time ;)

Update on Adeline's walking...

She is doing amazingly! Today she walked all the way from the couch to the kitchen sink (about 20 feet). Adeline is so impressed with her own walking...today she kept crawling to the couch, standing up, she would then walk a bit and when she would lose balance she would laugh and crawl back to the couch to do it all over again! She was just so happy all day.  I think she LOVES being able to walk.  

Day 277

Potty Training

I am doing some early potty training with Adeline and it is going very well! In the bathroom I set up a little potty station with her potty and a basket with some of Adeline's favourite books.  Today I put her on the potty several times, but I kept all her clothes on.  She had a great time just sitting on her potty reading some books.
