Day 70

Swimming

So today was Strollercise and swimming day again. We, as always, had a great time. Adeline is enjoying swimming more and more each time we go. Today for the first time we went on the big red slide at the swimming pool...it was soooooo fun! Adeline liked it, but Mommy LOVED it! And because Adeline didn't hate it, we will defiantly be doing it again.

Day 63

Mommy and Me

Adeline let Mommy do strollercise today, but as soon as it was time for the weight training she wanted to have some mommy time...therefore Mommy's weight training was lifting Adeline up and down, up and down. More on kisses from Adeline...she was holding out on mama today, but freely gave open mouthed, tongue kisses to both Carter and Jack in the pool today. I guess it's better kissing babies than mama.

Lovin My Toes

Adeline was enthralled with her toes today. It may have helped a little bit that there was a string hanging off her leg warmers that she kept trying to pull at ;)

After Strollercise today we went swimming...while watching this video imagine Adeline doing this in the pool, she is becoming quite the little swimmer.

Day 56

Swimming Fun

Adeline and I went to the rec centre with some of our mommy and baby friends today. We did some intense, but very fun strollercise and then we did a little swimming. Strollercise is where mama works out, following the leaders instructions while pushing baby in their stroller. Adeline quite enjoyed being pushed around the gym, she spent the entire time clapping her feet together as we circled around and around. After Mommy's work out, it was time for Adeline's. So we went to the pool. Adeline is always hesitant upon entering the pool, taking about 20 minutes before she is truly comfortable being in the open waters. But after that happens she kicks up a storm and splashes everyone with her flapping hands. Today we were introduced to the "Lazy River" a figure eight of enough current to push us through the water...thankfully the water is only a few feet deep ;)

Oh ya, Jack was wearing his new swimsuit today, a speedo, and Adeline likes it.

Day 35

Swimming

I know, I know this is not a picture of Adeline swimming, but I totally forgot to take a picture until I had her out of her swimming atire and into her warm, dry clothes. So the hanging out, watching mommy and daddy get dinner ready pictures will have to do. Today Adeline went swimming with her friends Jack, Hannah, Madison and Carter. She had a lot of fun splashing about in the pool and especially liked drinking the pool water. She is going to be a swimmer. Even now, at only 6 months, when I hold her up in the water she would move her arms and body in swimming-like motions, it was so funny to watch!
